I know this has nothing to do with the North American tour fuzz, but just to inform you all that the venue for Curitiba Pop Festival has been changed and 5.000 extra tickets will be available from Monday (APR 19th).
If you were ever interested in visiting Brazil that's your chance.
The official website for the festival is the following www.curitibapopfestival.com and it's worth a visit.
And reminding Cult of Frank that the show is not TBC anymore.

I´ve been lisening the Pixies since they launched the Doolitle album. I know that sounds pretty ordinary and a hundred times you people heard stories like that, but this band REALLY plays a major rule in my pathetic life. I´m 29 years old, and i found out what i wanted to do just becouse of this band. They inspired me to do art in all levels, to be creative and raw. Everytime i lisen to their albums, the same shit still hapenns till nowadays. Today i work with art exclusivelly couse this band inspired me. I´ll be on the Curitiba gig on "sector A" with my wife. I´m tall, very skinny, black short hair. Anyone who´s from Frankblack.net or Pixiesmusic.com is more than welcome to join us in this absolutly special day. We can trade adress after the gig to trade bootlegs and material after that. Thanks guys! See you there! |

Hey Cult, I also think everything is pretty confirmed by now, cause the festival organization even kept recent contact with their tour manager in order to change the venue or add an extra date. That's why this new amount of tickets are on sale now.

I wouldn't be too worried, this has been the case for a few of the gigs that were later confirmed. Probably if they're selling them, it's going to happen, but I'm sure you can imagine that everyone involved with the Pixies is pretty busy right now.

It's not officially confirmed from management, that's worrying though.
Anyways they wouldn't sell 8000 tickets if they had nothing to back them...

Actually, vilainde keeps our tour page up to date. If it has "TBC" that probably means we haven't had it officially confirmed from management or any of our official sources, even if it is quite likely it's happening.

Don't worry about the curitiba pop festival website, connect to this one www.ticketcenter.com.br and register, but it'll be hard for u to get tickets though, cause they only accept online bank transfer or invoice.

Ohhhhh , I've just seen your comment on the Saturday show, I'm afraid we can only buy two-night tickets on the net, day tickets are available only in Curitiba and I'm in São Paulo. But the price difference is less than 7 dollars, so you won't waste lots of money.
