Posted - 04/14/2004 : 11:43:09 www.sharingthegroove.com - read their Newbie FAQ, which will explain what software you need. In short, you download a torrent file, which you'll need special (free) software to open. The torrent file will allow you to download the files for the show. SharingTheGroove(STG) only posts lossless files - shn, flac - which you need other software to convert to WAV or AIFF. Unfortunately, SHN and FLAC files are big. I spend 8-12 hours and sometimes days to download a show.
Important - once you finish downloading the show, leave the window open so other people can download the show from you. These shows are not hosted on a server, they're hosted on my computer and yours... |
