Seems like they have the whole month off. Coachella on the 1st and Europe starting the 30th. Maybe some more US dates? |

Surely they could fit in a couple of Australian dates!
3rd Annual Australian Frank Black Countdown August 2003 - all involved parties rank EVERY released FB song from FB self/titled to the present - average ranks are calculated - beer (or suitable substitute) is added (mostly in drinking-game form - ie. rate a song well below its average and you drink a punishing amount), then sit back and enjoy a day of frank black....the only problem is quite often memory of the top songs is somewhat limited the next day |

Rumours are really strong that they will appear here in Brazil on May 8, for Curitiba Pop Festival, with Teenage Fanclub. Line-up is to be confirmed march 10. Kinda unbelievable, but some time ago I'd say it about a reunion...

I thought we heard from bowienet that there opening for him on the east coast during may, which would make sense.. last time they opened for bowie they had 60 minutes |

Well, before their show in Iceland, which will be on May 26th, they will rehearse for a few days in Iceland, according to the Icelandic press.
Maybe they'll go to the Blue Lagoon or something..

Very good point there mrgrieves, I've been wondering the very same thing for a while now. Their European schedule seems very crammed with few days off. I'm just wondering if FB's voice will hold out. With all that terrific screaming he does on the Pixies records it would be a strain on his larynx if he does this night after night right? I'm sure the band would like to rest at some time. What was their touring schedules like in the past? |

Hmmmm...........Maybe they will announce an eastcoast tour and all the travelers can sell there tickets to the westoast shows to the westcoast people who didn't get tickets and the westcoast people can go online and ensure that the eastcoast people get tickets to the eastcoast shows. boo ya!
