buffalo burger Posted - 03/13/2004 : 02:18:10
im not sure yet but i may be interested in trading a single ticket to the spokane show for one in eugene, either day, but preferably the 27th. like i said im not sure yet but i thought i'd see if there was even any interest for that out there.

bop.
astrocat Posted - 03/13/2004 : 00:37:00
They were $25 with $5.50 fee = $30.50

That was good ebay buy.
echo park Posted - 03/10/2004 : 20:00:34
Hey... I'm pretty excited. Seems supply is kind of meeting demand in Eugene.

I went over to eBay and won an auction without trying very hard!

2 tickets for the 28th - $50 each! That's the cheapest scalp by far that I've seen. What was face? $30 w/fees? Much happier now. Bid Cheap!!

Lucky me I have time to drive up to Eugene...

Fuck! I got so sick of scouring the internet and Ticketdump.com, 800 numbers or whatever the last couple weeks that I didn't feel like turning the computer on for the last several days. Missed again.

I just read this on portland.craigslist.org note that it was posted today (3/8). may be worth a shot:

Beware of problems ordering tix on-line thru TicketsWest!!

After being depressed about the first show selling out, I just found out about the 2nd show late last night. My on-line order wouldn't process properly, but it said "tickets not available" so I took that as meaning they had sold out already (based on the 1st show selling out, I didn't think it was impossible).

Anyway, my husband called today after having same problem on-line just to confirm. First the customer service woman said they literally had ONE ticket left, but after she was able to process him one ticket, another one came available.

So, just a warning...TicketsWest website might be messed up or tell you differently! Don't take a chance and call their 800 number!

(And you scalpers are really lame, btw)

i like how they added the 2nd screen to input the numbers, so automated programs couldn't just buy them up. i hope more online places take to doing this.

the website looks like it's still trying to sell tickets, but keeps giving an error. i'd keep trying that if you still need tickets.
RipperWalk Posted - 03/06/2004 : 13:00:00
oh yeah - goin' to both shows.
sheri Posted - 03/06/2004 : 12:14:29
does anybody know if they still have tickets at the macdonald theatre?
they said they allotted a bunch just to be sold there, at 9am. but my friend went to the theatre and there was nobody there, and no sign that said they were sold out or anything.. does anyone know what is going on with those tickets?
sheri Posted - 03/06/2004 : 11:28:04
It's sold out now.. just to let you all know :(

if only i checked my e-mail first thing when i woke up... oh well..
igottabrokenface Posted - 03/06/2004 : 10:36:39
funny that I found this 10 minutes before they went on sale! hehe
The guy from tickets west asked if I was a ticket scalper because I live in Philly hahaha.
Did this sell out? I got through on the phone on the 1st try, the website was being wierd though.
astrocat Posted - 03/06/2004 : 09:30:37
Yeah, MUCH easier!

But their site was still weird, buggy. Separately, both my husband and I got in, got to putting our credit card numbers in, pushed the button to submit that and THEN it told us it couldn't consign seats. I thought the seats were reserved onced you clicked "buy now"? I don't have much patience for screwy systems like their's. I'll be trying not to buy from them in the future.

But we got our tickets in a subsequent try!! Thanks tert and vespa59 for being on the ball and posting the info for everyone! I also think not many people knew about it, even on the forum there didn't seem to be much interest or notice. There's going to be a mad scramble in a few hours when word gets out--if there are any tickets left.

Try this link quickly!!!

It works honestly.......... gotten through twice and would've bought tickets for forum members but the questionare HAS to have a US state in the adress.

I hope someone found tickets through this!!??

igottabrokenface Posted - 03/06/2004 : 09:17:21
ya I just got 2 tickets
formeremployee Posted - 03/06/2004 : 09:11:57
a friend of mine forwarded me the email for this one. It was much easier to get tickets this time. I don't think people are paying attention to this one. I think most people don't even know about it.
Chris Knight Posted - 03/05/2004 : 23:28:37
Holy shit.

THE PIXIES ON SALE SATURDAY, MARCH 5, 2004
Second Show Added!

Here's a message I just got from a friend at TicketsWest. I'm personally not going to try to get any of these tickets (probably) because I don't need them. If I do find myself up early tomorrow and decide to try for them, I'll sell them at face value to people on this board.

Good luck everyone who got snubbed on the first round of tickets!

Hey, Pixies Fans! This info has NOT gone out yet to the general public.

The Pixies have added a second Eugene OR show and the tickets go on sale
tomorrow.

1st show 4/27 sold out
2nd show added today 4/28

Here is the link. It isn't presale but it does give you some advance
warning that others may not get.
