Figured I should start one, so people have another place to look when they're looking for tickets to buy.
Maybe it could be made a sticky ... however, I think the rule should be that posting in this thread implies that you are selling at face value.
Anyway, I have:
1 Calgary for trade (if I can't trade it, it's not for sale).
3 Regina for sale or trade
12 Boise for sale or trade
4 Saskatoon for sale (I'd probably be willing to go slightly below face value, although I'll wait a bit first)
Yeah, I was paranoid and indecisive and bought more than I needed (I plan on seeing three shows total with a couple of friends) ... but that fact is also part of what compels me to not be an asshole who tries to profit off of those who might have been shut out as a result.
Anyway, in trade I need one Vancouver (4/23) and one Spokane. Nothing is for sale until I get those two, but hopefully that will be soon. |

If anyone is interested, I have 2 tickets for sale at FACE VALUE for the Saturday, December 4th show at the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ. This night is SOLD OUT....The tickets are centered in section 202....The tickets were $35 each and come to $42 a piece with service charges....if interested, e-mail me at INeedANapp@aol.com

Followup to my last post, where I was trying to trade Edmonton tickets for Calgary tickets. I’ve found the Calgary tickets, but still have Edmonton, if anyone wants them at face value but shipping (would probably do greyhound to Edmonton depot, unless you could pick up in Calgary. I’ve offered to a couple of friends, but if I don’t hear from them late afternoon today (Saturday April 17), and you want them, we’ll see what we can do.

Any Boise extras out there? I'm in Jackson, WY - 6 hours away, and we were in the middle of an epic snow cycle - I was unemployed and skiing every day, plus I was hosting some visiting buddys so I couldn't use the net much and I missed the on-sale date announcement, and then the actual day. 1 ticket would be sweet, 2 would be even better. I don't have any tickets to trade, but we could probably work something out - cash, barter, etc. I'm feeling lucky... |

4 TICKETS TO BOISE APRIL 25TH TO SELL at face value, $28.50 each + shipping!!!
I've easily gotten rid of my other extras to friends and co-workers, but for some reason no one wants to touch the Boise tickets. Poor Boise. Show the Boise folks you care and buy my tickets!
FINE PRINT: I am not attending this show, yes, just like everyone else I know. But it's no disrespect to Boise, it's just that I'm going to several other shows and Boise is too far out of the way from the others I'm going to. Since I will not be there, I can not meet in Boise before the show to sell the tickets. The buyer must be willing to send me the money for the tickets or meet up in person in Seattle sometime BEFORE April 20. I leave town on my Pixies Tour-O-Rama the 20th and will be gone until after the Boise show. Therefore, if the buyer is sending money, they must be willing to send it RIGHT AWAY, like NOW, in order for me to get it and be able to send the tickets back to them so they have the tickets for the show on the 25th. If the buyer prefers a quick shipping method, such as 2 day or overnight, I'll be happy to do that, but buyer pays for shipping. If you are in Canada, I'd appreciate some guidance on who to send through to avoid customs charges and problems (USPS is best for that I think but am not sure). I'll accept money orders or, if you want to quicken things, I'll check into PayPal. When I have payment, I'll send the tickets. This has got to move fast, only 12 days to the Boise show! Please be willing to check your email often or give me a number to easily contact you at. Sorry to sound difficult, but I'm just trying to clear some things up at the beginning, so this transaction will go quickly and the buyer will get their tickets in time.

This is meant for those going to both Winnipeg and Saskatoon--
I have four Saskatoon tickets that I will sell for anywhere between half price and face value, depending on the response I get. The main catch is that Ticketmaster won't send them to my house, so I need to pick them up at a TM outlet while I'm in Winnipeg 4/14.
Even if you already have tickets to Saskatoon, just think -- you could re-sell these tickets at face value outside the venue and still make a profit. You can buy a decent amount of beer with that. |

I'd like at least ONE ticket to see the Pixies, two preferrably.

You might actually post a new topic about these and link to this one. I know we've made an effort to keep the boards tidy, but I for one was surprised to find someone selling the tickets I needed at face value. I think I missed your original post.
Or we could start a Face Value post or rename this one. That might get some attention.
BTW, Roomloo you are a real hero on this forum! The Boise tickets you sold me at face value may be the only show I get to see due to my changing work schedule. And I had paid more than face (not by much) on ebay in a panic earlier on for some other shows, which I will probably end up having to sell.

I am trying really hard to trade my 2 Calgary tixies for 2 Edmonton tixies..... Here's my story.
My great grandmother (97 years young!)had to pawn her oxygen machine and her wheelchair to pay for a spleen transplant, and subsequently she's been living on the mean streets of Edmonton ever since being evicted. Since I told her that i wasn't able to procure tickets for her to go see her most favorite band (she really likes their version of IN HEAVEN)her health has really started to deteriorate. Her limp and her lazy eye have worsened, gigantic blisters have now taken hold and now I fear a rash is imminent, not to mention the inevitable onset of Parvo. Often see looks up at me and says, "don't worry coffeecan, don't you worry, everything gonna be awright. We'll get those Edmonton tickets." And then I feel safe and warm. She's very brave.
I can't let her down.
