Posted - 02/26/2004 : 09:48:20 I've checked the listing of Pixies tickets on eBay, over the past two or three days there has been a flood of tickets up for auction. It seems like the touts don't worry too much about the "steps being taken to cancel tickets being sold on eBay". Maybe there are no efforts being made to stop tickets from being sold on eBay! I think this new rush is because of Ticketweb releasing tickets to guys who have been billed but not ticketed . One eBay seller states he is trying to make some money back after having bought the pair of tix on eBay. So those tickets are going through eBay TWICE! |

Posted - 03/03/2004 : 10:02:00 Hey Benji. I suspect that seller is a dodgy fella. I've called the ticketweb helpline (30 minutes call from South Africa) They told me that as the tickets are souvenir issues they haven't even been printed yet. This guy might be selling fake tickets, some of many around on eBay I suspect. |

This eBay tout advertises that he/she has tickets in hand!! How is it possible? As far as I know the tickets will be posted out much later!! |

Posted - 02/26/2004 : 13:45:50 The scalpers who were planning on holding off until the last minute to auction off tickets are probably trying to make a quick buck before the whole thing gets shut down by the authorities at EBay. Just a guess.
