Posted - 10/25/2024 : 01:38:48 I'm going to pick 3 per album, since they usually play around 30 tracks... and of course this is personal preference, they'd never pick these ones over more recognizable fan favorites
Ed Is Dead I've Been Tired Levitate Me Bone Machine Something Against You River Euphrates Debaser Tame Gouge Away All Over The World The Happening Hang wire Palace of the Brine Letter to Memphis Bird Dream of the Olympus Mons What Goes Boom Magdalena 318 Jaime Bravo Baal's Back Oona Plaster of Paris On Graveyard Hill Ready For Love Daniel Boone Nomatterday Who's More Sorry Now You're Such A Sadduccee Jane (The Night the Zombies Came) Motoroller Oyster Beds

Posted - 09/19/2024 : 10:24:52 My favourites:
Caribou Bone Machine Gouge Away Velouria Alec Eiffel What Goes Boom Head Carrier Daniel Boone Doggerel (too early/incomplete)
Most likely:
Nimrod's Son Vamos Wave of Mutilation Cecilia Anne Head On Snakes (although Greens and Blues has been the only one they've played off the album this tour, albeit 3 times) All the Saints Death Horizon Nothing from Doggerel has been played after its tour, so there aren't really any clues of what they're most attached to. Some of these are more likely than others. |

Posted - 09/19/2024 : 08:30:08 Would be amazing if they represented all 10 albums on these tours. Just pick your favorite from each album?
Whats the most likely contenders from each album? |

Although a lot of groups say that
And Ween was probably actually the closest (get well Deaner)

Posted - 09/17/2024 : 03:11:44 So they've got 7 shows in Australia/New Zealand in November opening for Pearl Jam, then nothing til April. January is full of Teenager of the Year shows.... Just seems weird to have a new Pixies album come out and then not a lot of shows to support it until 7 months later. Maybe they'll announce some US dates for Feb/March...
It really makes me think that Zombies was intended to come out earlier this year, and this summer was meant to be the Zombies tour. But the Paz thing happened and they had to re-record parts with Emma, which pushed everything back. So they still did all the shows they did this year, but without a new album out to promote. Kinda strange.
They have recording sessions in London this fall... if all goes well with that they could have another album in the can before the Zombies tour even starts! |
