ROCKED. When this band goes on stage, all of the politics and petty gripes and nitpicking that follow them around become meaningless. Their show is still powerful.

Me, I don't listen to, or even own, the old Pixies records anymore. Haven't in at least a decade. If I'm gonna hear those songs again, THIS is how I'll take them. Live, in person (as in I'm physically at the show--Youtube clips communicate maybe 1/10th of the experience), watching this band fire out those old songs like bullets. My favorites were the new songs though, all of which I felt sounded at home with the old. "Greens and Blues" is truly made for the stage.

No pictures, no clips. I didn't take any. I just watched the show and pogoed up and down more than a 37 year old man maybe should.

And it was all pantomime, not a word spoken to the audience. I like that the Pixies' aloofness extends even to something like that.

Maybe they're trying to be the Charlie Chaplin of rock bands... :-)

Glad you enjoyed.

Never had the chance to see Pixies live, so I don't mind Youtube clips.

I hate smartphones at concerts... but I like youtube clips... Man, this is getting schizophrenic...
