in the background, they show bits of where is my mind, andro queen, and wave of mutilation (uk surf). those are all songs from the very beginning of the show. there are also two short interview bits with black francis, from before the show.

I agree it is their best recorded performance so far (Paris first night was good too)
Slightly faster it seems, and drums + bass were more synced and accurate
Intro guitar reminds me a bit of The Marsist...

Same here, I like BF's guitar on this one at 1:45. "I went down deep in her hive". Can't understand what he is saying in the chorus after Magdalena though...aside from "just between us" and "Sweet Magdalene".
Too many Magdalenas though, haha. |
