Hmm, maybe Joey will extend that part again over the course of the tour proper. Thanks Yarbles.

They all were about the same length at each show.

as requested by a few people, here is the recording of the show:
https://mega.co.nz/#!l5gCEBiJ!b9tEdhMu9Wm-ZL7horbY4S_X8u4x9eA1otZMQekNpfM

I have simply zipped the folder up I downloaded from dime.
it's still in lossless flac format, hence it's relatively large size.

I'm clueless when it comes to torrents.
darwin Posted - 09/15/2013 : 17:58:59
Someone needs to download it so I can get my ratio back above 0.25.

Does anyone have a link to a direct download from mediafire or one of those? I don't have a dimeadozen account and it keeps telling me it's closed.

Keep trying on dimeadozen and you'll land an account.

Snail has a decidedly Bossanovaish vibe. I like it, but it's gonna take several listens. Probably need to hear the studio version.

Feels like the tempo of Silver Snail is a bit too slow though, needs a little more sonic activity as the verses/chorus are pretty simple. Same for Blue Eyed Hexe. Very simple, straightforward. Hoping to see more fast/slow and loud/quiet/loud dynamics like with Indie Cindy.
yarbles Posted - 09/12/2013 : 12:01:10
The crowd for night #4 was the most active crowd yet. there was a decent little mosh pit during Isla De Encanta... in my dreams the band would have gone straight into "Dance War/Mosh Don't Pass The Guy" from Cult of Ray immediately after this. :)

Which brings up a side note... I would absolutely LOVE it if Pixies 2.0 would start to incorporate some Frank Black solo/Catholics "covers" into their setlists. I mean, as long as they're doing new tunes and new covers, why not?!? :) (A man can dream can't he?)

exact same feeling: very good version of Blown Away, excellent guitar at the end of Silver Snail (very moody, shadowy...)
and great drumming by David on I Bleed

Blown away sounds great. The band version of Silver Snail sounds solid. Digging the guitar outro section a lot.

Seems like these LA shows have come off pretty well in terms of getting the band reintroduced. They've gotta be a bit worn out though.
