Posted - 07/27/2013 : 08:11:22 Sorry Denis; that would've been special.
I wonder what they'll open their first show with. Bone Machine like the first reunion show? Bagboy as a statement of intent.? Bullet for the Catholics fans and a big head scratcher for others? I hope some songs are reworked. |

Posted - 07/26/2013 : 07:04:34 Know the feeling. That happened to me when I bought a ticket to the very first reunion show in Winnipeg in 2004. The Minneapolis show the night before was added a few weeks later. |

Posted - 07/25/2013 : 21:48:53 Well that blows. I wanted to see the first Pixies2.0 concert, and now there are like a hundred more dates announced before the Paris gig. Unfair!

Posted - 07/23/2013 : 22:39:01 Yes it is unreal, it's like going back in time. I have not been to a big festival since I saw the Pixies at V in the UK in 2004. And even then I felt old.... |

Posted - 07/21/2013 : 05:20:57 That's an unreal line-up (though obviously not very modern): Pixies, Replacements, Bob Mould, Dinosaur Jr, Guided by Voices, Violent Femmes, Mission of Burma.. |

Posted - 07/20/2013 : 16:43:44 Interesting. I wonder how many new songs they'll play. For anyone here who goes to festivals; how many bands do you actually listen to? When I was at Bonnaroo years ago, I would catch snippets of different bands but two or at most three full length (2 hours or more) sets from different groups is enough for me. Any more than that and I think I'd just be burned out on the music. |
