Hey all, me and my girlfriend are hoping to get tickets to the Friday Brixton gig and wondered if anyone familiar to the area could recommend somewhere to stay?
The closer to the venue the better, but we're not fussy people, as long as it's a clean place with a bed we'll be happy. Has anyone stayed over in Brixton before and know any places (or any places to stay away from!)?

No offense to Ziggy but for a real expert's opinion, pixiestu, wait until floop weighs in with his recommendations.
I remember sitting in a basement listening to Fields of Marigold until I passed out.

The tube should be running til midnight or so (presuming they're not fucking about with the Victoria Line), which ought to widen your options a bit.
