in paris 2004, we could hear "hang on to your ego" (beach boys) while waiting the pixies take the stage... was it a joke from FB (he covered this title in solo).

also, does anyone knows the song we hear just at the begining at the brixton 1991 show? ...it sounds familar to me...
thankx

The thing is, it worx perfect 4 me. Most of the other guys claim that sounds has a tendancy of sending singings to the right. I want your opinion.

Yes, I agree. It depends on your perspective, if you turn your head backwards the singings usually switch sides. I know it's weird, but with 'sounds' you just have to tread carefully. Hope that helps.

Before the 3 Catholics shows I've been to in 2003, there was an incredible ska/reggae cover of Ring of Fire, the song by Johnny Cash... a great version! If anybody knows what could it be... Before the Bataclan show, there has also been a song wich I guess is by Lou Reed solo, a song I loved so much, and since I haven't discovered what song it could have been... is there anyone remembering this? I'd really like to know what was this song.

In Toulouse in 2001, Low by Bowie was played before they came on stage...
Then the same year in Paris, The Velvet Undeground (3rd album) or to be more obsessed/precised: the 4 th disc of the "Peel slowly and see" boxset...

I remember an article where Frank handed his iPod or suchlike over to the front of house people to play to preshow music. Definately 'Pet Sounds' in Brixton.

I doubt the Pixes would have any input to PA music, could it not just have been played because it’s a good song?
