Post here if you would like the Pixies to alter their future setlists played on tour, i.e with more bossanova/trompe or even a few new/old songs eg Break My Body, Ive Been Tired, Tonys Theme etc.

Maybe if this thread reaches an inordinate amount of posts next time Frank will look at the website he'll see okay theres a heap of fans who would like us to play a different song or two, its worth spending a few hours rehearsing it....

The Happening, Motorway to Rosswell, The Thing, Hang Wire, Trompe Le Monde Manta Ray/Dancing the Manta Ray

Ofcourse I would love to hear these tunes, but it isn't happening

I could not help but noticing all these robots fucking in the middle of the mini-mall

frank said in interviews that theyre playing crowd pleasers which means its probably unlikely theyll throw in later stuff. still, i dont see why the bossanova singles weren't all played and alec eiffel. personally, im holding out on them getting in a keyboardist for the trompe le monde stuff. id most like to see, bird dream of olympus mons, there goes my gun, dig for fire, hang wire, and manta ray. been listening to that over and over lately.

my dream songs would be kim singing bird dream of the olympus mons (since thats what gil norton suggested during the TLM sessions), i've been tired, rock music, havelina, tony's theme, levitate me (they stopped playing it before i saw them), and alison

EDIT: oh and alec eiffel and ana

I think that Frank is no more likely to notice this thread than the several others which have expressed the same sentiment over the last 8 months or so.

Happy new year, everyone.

I would love to hear more boss and tromp like everyone else. But I also think it'd be a really sick and nice suprise to maybe throw in a new song weve never heard during a show. Also they should play bam thwok and aint that pretty at all

c'mon only 15 posts thus far! you never know Frank might take notice if this thread gets to a decent size - i think of it kinda like one of those fan petitions to get an oversees band to tour - guess in the US that never happens coz bands know they can make heaps of money if they tour there!
gee if they dont want to do their own stuff, just throw in a 'new' cover even that would be kinda cool

The Happening would be great, Alec Eiffel and Distance Equals Rate Time Times too... And Break My Body. I would love to hear these ones live...
Brackish Heart Posted - 12/25/2004 : 03:48:34
Just thinking, man if at a concert (not that ive seen any yet...) if mid concert amongst all the expected hits, Frank would start singing "they've got a ranch they call, number 51", that would be the ultimate...c'mon put the Happening in the setlist - though lyrically it would be one of the hardest to learn again!
