Posted - 12/21/2004 : 00:18:13 On the very last performance of "Monkey......" they sang:"This Songsheet's Gone To Heaven" (they had changed the refrain (almost) every nite(at least in the last 2 weeks) |

It's a little blurry to differentiate (and who knows, we all could be wrong) but I think Kim's voice accentuates the "song is" but the "sheet" is either really negligible or doesn't exist. |

Posted - 03/06/2005 : 18:10:54 Just got my Amherst disc and it sounds to me like they're saying "This Song, She's Gone to Heavan" They sing Monkey at first, but then during the repeat at the end of the song they sing something else.
Will I ever reach 1000?

Frank most definately changed the words. I have a copy of the 12-1 show and at various points it sounds like he is sayign anything from "this song is song 11 (but that doesn't make too much sense, and I can't hear so well)," "this song is sung to heaven" or "this songsheet's sung to heaven" or weird things like that. I don't know what it is that he actually sings, but I can promise you that he does sing other things. It's so weird, though: I didn't notice it when I saw them live that night. I must've been singing over it.

Posted - 12/21/2004 : 18:29:47 I know at pixiesmusic they seem to enjoy having numerous threads for each topic (for example the Letterman appearance generated about 10 threads in 3 different sections) but it's much easier to keep track of what you're talking about if you keep it all to one thread. It also helps to check and see if what you're bringing up is already being discussed/has been discussed somewhere else. I mean that in the friendliest way possible. Thanks.
If you really want to know, look in the Frank |
