My dad swears to God that he heard on the radio that the Pixies are playing a show at the Avalon in Boston in February, and that he was going to try and get me tickets as a birthday present. I figure there's no way that's true, but I wonder why it was reported...
Unless the DJ messed up, and it's really a Frank solo show!!!

Doesn't Australia's Big Day Out festival usually take place in August every year? Maybe a possibility. |

I don't know. The only thing I heard is that there will be a show in August. I guess, tho anything is possible, although I haven't heard anything.
Is it on Ticketmaster?
Oh yeah... and Jan 29th *fixed* is Austin City Limits on PBS. |
