First post...
First off, unbelievable shows! I've seen Frank several times, and the Breeders at Lollapalooza, but getting to see the Pixies finally was fantastic - and we're going to Norfolk tonight. 'A three-day party'...
What I want to know is: does ANYBODY out there have the Philly shows recorded?? I already ordered the Norfolk show from pixiesdiscs.com, but would really like to have discs of the other shows I attended. Is there a download available?? Anything?? I can't imagine that the shows simply weren't recorded by someone... |

hello,
i was at the 12/5 show and was blown away (much better than the hammerstein show i later attended). i ordered it beforehand on disclive and was crushed when the cancelled all of december.
i'd love to get a copy of that show. i'm a fool when it comes to swapping, posting, "torrents", etc...i tried the link to the torrent in this thread, but it seems to be full. does anyone have a copy, or can anyone help direct me to one? i know this is an oft-used sentiment around here (and rightfully so), but i simply must get my hands on that concert.

are there any other 12-4 show tapings out there? did disclive make any to buy at the concert? im going insane. i would do anything for that recording. i was there and i know theres no way im going to be able to see them again, but it was amazing and i would LOVE to have a recording of it.... please get backt o me if anyoen knows.

I use DPA 4061 mics and a Sony M1 DAT recorder. The whole setup runs for about $2,000.00. Then there's the equipment needed to do a proper transfer... |

That blows! I've been anxiously waiting for the 12/4 show to post all weekend. And now that jackass has gone and spolied the good times for eveyone else. At least ebay has shut him down for the time being... |

Unfortunately, Helsabot's 12/5 show ended up on eBay, so he's not going to make a torrent of the 12/4 show. I'm hoping he'll be kind enough to share it via some other method with those of us who were at the show and just want to relive it :) If you want to help, you could try complaining to ebay about auction 4060033039. |

That's great - Helsabot posted a sample mp3 file from 12/5, and it sounds great! If the 12/4 show sounds anything like that, it will be a great recording to have. Helsabot, what equipment do you use? |

I tried to sign up at easytree and they have the "maximum number of users" :( Oh well, does anybody know if the 12/4 show was posted there? That is the show I was at, and is the one I am interested in. |

I am an moron. I can't firgure any of this out. I will trade my disc live cd (not a copy the real one) from one of the 1st 5 shows for a copy of this show. I was there and was blown away. Need to hear again.

You went to both Camden shows? Nice. I only got to see 12/4 and I'm also looking for a recording. It sucks because DiscLive stops the last day of November, and pixiesdiscs starts up December 6
