Posted - 11/30/2004 : 06:43:37 My friend and I drove 2 1/2 hours from Boston to Amherst through rush hour traffic along 90W to see the show. When we got to the UMass Campus we had to drive around in circles for a while because we couldn't find the Mullins Center. We pulled in to the parking lot of what we thought should be the Mullins Center, but something was wrong. There were hardly any cars in the lot and everything seemed dark. We decided to investigate. As we were walking up to the front door that was clearly marked "Mullins Center" I got a cold chill up my back. I slowly reached into my pocket, pulled out the tickets, and read them for the first time that week. "Tues. Nov. 30th 7:30PM" It was the wrong fucking day, I can't BELIEVE I did that!
Before driving the two plus hours back to Boston, we stopped at the local Chili's for dinner.
We drove four hours to eat at Chilis...
Oh well... Luckily, it was the day before and not the day after, so we get to drive another four hours tonight, but at least we'll get to see the show!
Has anyone else here made this mistake before? _____________________________________________________________________
