Ten or fifteen years ago, he looked kinda awkward, but it seems like he's matured into a pretty good looking guy since. Just an observation.

they did that at the akron show, too. I don't think Joey knew what was going on. He just went up to charles' mic and went "goodnight" and looked around all confused. |

Joey looks well. That's the best way I can put it. He looks healthy.
They did this goofy, uncharacteristic thing Sunday night in Hull (Quebec, Canada), uncharacteristic compared to the pre-reunion Pixies. Before the final encore Charles said "goodnight, Kim" and she said, "goodnight, Charles" and they went back and forth. It struck me as kinda showmaship-y, reunion dorkiness, but it was cute. Anyway, Joey wanted nothing to do with it. Didn't go up to the mike to wish the other three goodnight. I wouldn't have either. As Marge Simpson once told Bart, "If this gets any more special, it might be too special."

hahaha.....I am surprised how I actually wasnt that annoyed by all the 'fair-weather' fans (a few people even waved lighters during 'where is my mind' and it didnt phase my enjoyment.....and like I said, it was just an observation.....but thanks for the concern floop.

I think it was the goofy haircuts that made him look a little awkward before. The bald/shaved look works good for him.
