PIXIES TO OFFER LIVE RECORDINGS OF SHOWS ON LEG TWO OF REUNION TOUR

If you missed out on one of the now-collectible PIXIES' live discs which
were released over the course of the band's sold-out 13-city "warm up" tour
earlier this year, well, opportunity is shining down on you. The special
limited edition "Pixies Live" CDs are also making a comeback.

Pixies, headlining what is without a doubt the hottest reunion in ages,
announce that beginning with tonight's Minneapolis date at the Wilkes
Auditorium, they will record every show on Leg Two of their "comeback tour
of the year," making a CD of that show available for sale that night. As on
the April dates, the Pixies' traveling caravan will include a DiscLive truck
that will have the capacity to record and manufacture the CDs on the spot.
Only 1,000 CDs will be made of every show (except for Toronto where 1,500
CDs will be made), and when the CDs are gone, they're gone - no more will be
produced.

Starting immediately, 500 CDs from the remaining Leg Two concerts can be
pre-ordered at the DiscLive site (wwwdisclive.com). If all 500 "Pixies
Live" CDs from any given show are pre-sold, then only 500 will be available
for purchase the night of the concert; pre-orders can be picked up at the
respective concert, or mailed to the buyer. All "Pixies Live" CDs purchased
at a concert or via DiscLive following a concert will be priced at $25.00;
those purchased at the DiscLive site as a pre-order will also sell for
$25.00. Should the buyer choose to have the CD mailed, shipping and
handling charges will apply.

Point of sale stations will be set up at all tour venues where fans can
purchase a voucher before the show begins, then turn in that voucher some
10-15 minutes following the show, at which time they'll be handed a double
CD of that night's performance, complete with artwork that will include the
concert's date and location. Fans can also opt to have the CD mailed to
them; any CDs that do not sell that night will be available for purchase at
DiscLive's site (wwwdisclive.com).

For Leg Two of this Reunion Tour, Pixies have already shattered past sales
records in numerous venues - more than 26,000 tickets were sold in minutes
for the band's unprecedented seven night/eight show December run at New York
City's Hammerstein Ballroom; Pixies also sold 22,000 tickets for a
record-setting, five-night November run at Chicago's Aragon Ballroom.
Sell-outs have also occurred for shows in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto,
Orlando, Vancouver, San Francisco, Kansas City, Detroit, Montreal, Lowell,
Los Angeles, Phoenix and others.
