My friend Jason and I both made the mistake of buying the olive green PIXIES shirt at the show last night (we liked the design). When I got home, I realised it is a *girls* shirt. I can't believe the idiots selling the merch didn't tell us this when we bought it. It's very hard to tell, the sleeves are slightly smaller and cut differently than a guys shirt. Plus, for a medium size, it's really small!

Just a FYI, so no one else makes the same mistake.

If anyone going to an upcoming show wants this shirt, I would be happy to trade you for a guys medium (or large, if no medium available) of the Death to the Pixies shirt in a normal (guy) style. I'm sure it wouldn't cost more than $2 or $3 to mail the shirts, and from one fan to another, I would really appreciate it as this girls shirt I was sold is useless to me cause I can't wear it!

Just reply here if you are willing to trade! I haven't worn the shirt or washed it, and it is just like brand new I promise.

Thanks,
Ben

Thanks!!! I'll check them out.

Turn the spit on that pig and kick the drum and let me down.

Yeah, hangwire, I think you might be right about the male/female versions existing. On my tag there is no mention of "Clissic Girl".

Damn! So, I'll rephrase the original request: Anybody going to an upcoming show wanna be a saint and buy me a *guys* version of the olive green shirt, in medium (or large if no med available) ? I'll either trade you for this girls version (preferred, since I can't wear it) or pay you $20 to buy one for me (last resort, since I'm a poor college student [literally] without a job). I'll pay the ~$3 shipping.

Thanks,
Ben

Maybe they did have a guys version? If you look on the tag by the collar, does it say "Classic Girl" ?

Yeah, I'm fairly skinny (5'11 150lbs) and I can tell this medium would be skin tight on me! It also looks like since the sleeves are really short, if I raised my arms above my head while wearing this shirt, my armpits would probably show -- unlike all the other adult medium t-shirts I have with longer (standard cut) sleeves.

I just wish I would have known. It was hard to tell at the venue, cause it was dark and crowded and I just didn't think to look at the shirt before I left. I would have assumed that since I'm a guy, by myself, buying a t-shirt they would have thought I wanted a guy's shirt, unless I specified otherwise. Oh well.
