Posted - 09/07/2004 : 21:57:24 I am actually here because of Will. I'm a big fan of him and his fests (been to three this year), so I was curious about the Pixies once I learned Will was a big fan. Pfeffa and DiosMio, a Lebowski Fest forum Achiever, recommended Monkey Gone to Heaven to download -- actually, Pfeffa recommended the whole Doolittle album, but are we gonna split hairs here?
Ooooo! There's a "best of" album with 23 tracks for only $10 on iTunes. That sounds worthy. Can anyone confirm, or uh, disconfirm that suspicion?
By the way, if a cluster of you all make it down to Louisville for Leboswki Fest 4 or Los Angeles for Lebowski Fest West 2, I will personally make you "I hate the f***ing Eagles" t-shirts! (Dunno if cursing is appropriate on this forum, so I thought I'd take 'er easy.) |

Posted - 09/07/2004 : 11:49:57 LOL, that would be so funny to see someone wearing. I think us FBheads should all take a charter bus to Lebowskifest. |

Posted - 08/30/2004 : 09:45:38 this is weird. i was just telling my friend liz last night that I wanted a t-shirt of John Goodman wielding a crobar with the caption "This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass!"
I think the winter is going to be a real whirligig |

Posted - 08/23/2004 : 15:50:36 I can't go to a lebowskifest, it's os! booooo!
I can't even watch the film 'cos like a dipshit I leant my DVD to some girl. booooo!
I can't even make myself a white russian 'cos I'm all out of milk. boooooo!
I might go and perv at buscemi pictures on the web though, I love donnie! yaaaaaaaaaaay!
(openly wept when he died, openly laughed my arse off when they choked on his ashes though)
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

Posted - 08/22/2004 : 20:16:09 Ok, to rephrase my question without the subtleties, can someone knowledgeable about bowling culture confirm my friend’s experience that many bowling teams are comprised of a group of people who do everything together and one person, a virtual stranger, who keeps to himself? |

Posted - 08/22/2004 : 18:42:36 RIP Hollywood Star Lanes (the alley used in Lebowski) on Santa Monica Blvd. The city of L.A. took over the property to build a school. Dipshits.

I'm bitter about it. I used to bowl there once a week in the early '90s. I even took my wife there on our first date. Now it's gone.
At least they didn't take my wife.

By directly addressing I mean talks to and addresses him by his name, while they are drinking in one scene. |

Posted - 08/21/2004 : 23:18:37 My friend pointed out to me that the cowboy's on the Dude's bowling team.
He suggested that this would be well understood by anyone who has ever been in a bowling league.
Anyone? |

Posted - 08/21/2004 : 00:26:52 Well that's like, your opinion man. Just registered as Brother Seamus. I lived in Panorama City in '91 with Ralphs and In 'n' Out handy. Now I live in SW Massachusetts near where the Coens went to school for a while, there's a barber shop nearby a lot like the one in The Man Who Wasn't There, 3 stations, 2 barbers, one talks the other doesn't. What's next? |
