Hello All:
This may have been posted here before -- I dunno. I checked the search engine and came up with bupkis (butt-kiss?). So forgive me if this is a repeat.
Sometime in the first half of 2001, REVOLVER Mag (I believe - whichever mag it was it was new, and I'm inclined to think REVOLVER because their format has since changed to, like, thrashcore or something) had a good, long article on The Pixies, the longest and most comprehensive I've ever seen. Interviews w/ all 4 members and everything. I believe (again this is a guess) that Michael Azerrad, Nirvana biographer, wrote the thing. What I remember for certain is that corn-rowed, moustachioed Korn fella was on the cover with his fancy sci-fi/horror mike stand.
If anyone's got a copy (pref. online), pleasepleaseplease let me know.

I also think Mojo, in 2001 when Dog in the Sand had come out, also had a very good article about the Pixies. Unless it was the Revolver article I was given. I should check. I was only given the pages featuring the article and not the magazine itself. If I do, I can scan it, PDF it and email it to you by the end of the week.

Yeah all I want is to reread the text. I'm not collecting or anything. So if anyone has the text up online? If it's not already here it should be. I remember it being the most extensive article I'd read on 'em.

It was REVOLVER March/April 2001, and yes it was by Michael Azerrad, and yesJonathan Davis from Korn was on the cover.
I have a copy, which I'm looking at now, but it'd be no good to you. I cut out a pic of FB from it last year to make a cover to a bootleg I burned. it you really want it, I could tape the pic back in so the article is intact and then mail it to you, if no one can provide you an online version that is. Good luck.
