Has anyone heard anything about the P's playing last night at South By SouthWest? My friend who is there said it was happened? Anyone know the scoop?

It's very dubious at best.
Pixies don't need the publicity of SXSW, which is the only reason anyone plays there (SXSW doesn't pay the bands). Everybody knows they're back together and the tour is sold out.
But I guess anything's possible. |

some great bands that i'd love to check out if i was in the area- modest mouse, cake, wayne coyne, b 52's ......
