according to greek newspaper eleytherotypia in an article about the biggest greek summer festival:
...the biggest surprise of this year's edition are the pixies the most important american alternative rock band of the 80's,which have just reunited and are to release a new best of compilation and a dvd.after the sold out us tour they will be hitting europe and they are confirmed for one of the 5 days of the rockwave festival...
several other newspapers confirm that the pixies will be visiting greece.among other bands that will play placebo,white stripes
