Completely agree that BTE is a vast improvement over HC. But the demos are so much more pleasing, and BTE still lacks the bite of the same songs performed live. I just want it to sound like the band is in the room at the same time again (granted much if the "classic" stuff really WASN'T recorded that way) |

I also like BTE's production; it's not Surfer quality, but I easily prefer it to HC's flat muddiness or IC's polished sheen. And if the podcast is a fair representation, then Dalgety's contributions to BTE were very positive. It's crazy that he did both BTE and HC because they're so radically different in my mind. |

Was really hoping they'd record the next one with everyone in the room (love the sound of the demos way more than the actual BTE album). So hopefully they don't record in quarantine haha. Glad they're back at it though.
