Posted - 06/15/2015 : 09:46:51 Did you catch Joey and Charles recent periscope broadcasts ? The other day Joey was broadcasting from backstage with Charles & Paz doing some vocalization exercices. Yesterday Charles was with Joey in a bar drinking beer. And a few hours ago he broadcasted from a laundromat store.
Pretty cool actually.

Posted - 06/17/2015 : 07:41:49 Yeah, can get pretty wild sometimes. A few days ago I watched in disbelief a periscope feed of a riot as police was dismantling a refugee squat in Paris. Revolutionary and scary at the same time.

Posted - 06/16/2015 : 10:34:58 Periscope is a video broadcasting app for smartphone (Apple or Android). Once connected with the emitter you have his/her video plus you can send messages.
You can follow BF or Joey on Twitter to receive notifications via their Twitter feeds.
I think it also works on PC through the browser, but in watch-only mode without the messaging option.

Posted - 06/16/2015 : 08:45:57 He answered some "favourites" questions at least: for example his favourite show was a band called the Texas Tornadoes at some kind of casino in an Indian reservation 20 years ago.
Periscopes are supposed to be an ephemeral kind of thing, but if you have an IPhone/IPad and a Mac, you can record them through USB and use Quicktime to capture the output. For archiving purposes. Ya know... !

Posted - 06/16/2015 : 03:41:36 the Q and A was hilarious. The questions were horrible. Favourite colour, favourite city, favourite Pixie. I mean the Qs were terrible.
At one point BF just looked incredulous and said "Guys I'm 50 not 10" But BF made it very funny, playing jazz and sewing buttons in his hotel room to amuse\distract himself. I found it very funny. They even asked the dreaded Nirvana question which I think he missed whilst threading a needle. All very good humoured and I enjoyed it.
