Funny that they mentioned that LA show from a couple years ago as their worst show.... I was there and loved it! Ha. It was the first time they publicly played new songs with Kim Shattuck and it was in a small venue without their usual lighting/sound set up, so I guess I can see how it may have felt awkward to them. But I had a blast. It was amazing hearing brand new never before heard Pixies tracks for the first time. For example, video I took of that gig: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA6p9MVpV0s

Hmm, weird interview. Is it me or did they sound a little agitated? I know it's the Pixies and quiet, cagey interviews are pretty common, but it felt like they really didn't have any interest in being there.
Or perhaps they were all just a little tired? |

Nah, that's just the way they are. They are a little weird. I can sort of see why Kim left the band. I still love their music though. |

God, life on the road is no fun. They always look equally bored regardless what is asked ! Hope they have fun writing new music and playing onstage though.
