I may have the attention span of a lab rat, but my appetite for new tunes from Frank was not satiated with this latest release.

It makes even more sense as Dave said in an early interview that they came in with 5 songs and wrote 7 more in the studio. 12=Bagboy+EP1+EP2+A 3 track EP. We know in fact that they have more songs than that so maybe he meant they completed an additional 7 songs and the rest were left as demos. I'm sure I've read an interview saying they produced a lot of new music in the studio whilst demoing even more.
Looks like this was Spot On!
Some other predictions in this thread, not so much.
Can we combine the 2 EP-3 threads to make things easier? |

yeah, it's absolutely this. whenever they exhaust an EP of music videos, they release the next one. there's nothing remotely surprising about the releases. it's all bizness. |

ok, i had a look, and i find multiple articles and reviews stating 7 april as the release date of EP3. i assume that's the date was incorrectly announced on wikipedia.

wasn't a month mentioned in one of the interviews? i seem to remember that. maybe i'm wrong. i can't really remember where i got that. i'll have a look. (i just thought maybe someone else would also remember this and have a fresher memory of it.)

I think the only time frame is the somewhat quarterly schedule established and the fact that they've coincided with holiday weekends. There was a bullshit date on wikipedia and it was deleted.
I'd either just expect the unexpected, or at best, maybe shoot for the next major tour leg and/or holiday. Memorial day? Ahhh that seems like too long of a drought between releases.
Expect the unexpected IMO.

I would like the 25-ish new songs listed on BMI to be released on a double album, with bonuses like all the demos, artwork, acoustic live versions, (and even videos)
And of course re-recorded with Paz on bass, vocals, maybe violin, and remixed / remastered

Nothing has been said about how many EPs are being released, but from the interviews we've heard over the past few months, I believe there has only been 3 EPs worth of material produced. Everything else they've done is probably in demo form at the moment. |

Is it confirmed that there will only be 3 eps ? For some reason I assumed that quite a few more tracks were recorded and that there will be 4 or even 5 eps released while the tour goes on . Then probably a deluxe package containing all ep tracks and accompanying videos . I don 't think we'll get an album any time soon as the bands current stance is so anti album they would look like chumps if they backtracked and put one out, that's just my two cents . |

(For example, i love the live version of Bagboy without as many backup vocals, and Magdalena is sounding awesome at the faster speed they've been performing it lately.) Plus if Paz is going to be a more permanent member like it's kind of being alluded to in some interviews it'd be nice to have her bass and vocals on the record. Hopefully the critiques of the production/compression issues on the EPs would be noted and changed for the LP as well. |

BF responded to a post on twitter about a fan wanting an album, but being satisfied with the EPs. He said that person's "antiquated itch would be scratched in good time". Sounds good.
Transmarine, can you at least list the demo songs you've heard? Share the knowledge if you won't share the music. |

The two EPs also came out almost immediately after holidays. American holidays, at least.
EP 1 was announced right after Labor Day. EP 2, New Year's. If EP is gonna be in May, that coincides with Memorial Day. |
