Looks like the comments about touring with Bowie as his backing band have gathered some reports;

I know it was one of those 'loaded' questions where it is probably not intended to be taken literally, but it would be quite interesting stylistically if such a collaboration did happen.
"David Bowie and the Pixies from Mars" would be a pretty cool band name!
I think the Catholics would perhaps be better suited to get the Bowie sound, such as Diamond Dogs, but I would love to hear the Pixies take on some of Bowies songs. |

thanks pixies punk! interesting interview. i like the part where he was talking about reading song lyrics to his daughter at bedtime- william shatner style! the great pretender was also referenced in the ep1 press release.
