The New Bolero
Posted - 10/29/2009 : 09:21:08 I saw this item -- http://www.laweekly.com/events/pixies-748386/ -- in LA Weekly and wondered what the hell. The way the guy who wrote it immediately goes into that Cobain shit and the stupid line about Monkey Gone to Heaven makes me think he has no idea what he's talking about. So I took the going into the studio part with a grain of salt.
...Along with the recent release of the gorgeous Minotaur box set and news that the group is headed for the studio in 2010, it's all enough to make a monkey think he's died and gone to heaven.
