'Tame' promo leaks online

A video for Pixies 'Tame' has appeared
online.

A promo for the song, which is available on 1989's 'Doolittle' but was never released as a single, has appeared on YouTube.

The clip shows the band playing the track by a
playground.

'Tame' can be seen below.

This doesn't look like a promo to me. Looks like it's part of some show or something. Speaking of pixies videos I got something recently that should be extremely ridiculously cool if it is what I was told it is. It's on a PAL tape though and I haven't been able to trasnfer it to NTSC yet so I don't want to say anymore yet until I've verified that it's legit.

NEW OLD PIXIES VIDEO - "TAME"

Black Francis's Bluefinger LP -- a collection of Herman Brood referencing tunes, of
course -- is out in the US next week. Kanye, Fifty, get ready! But it's a recently
excavated A/V treat from Pixies that's abuzz today. The Doolittle whisper/scorcher
"Tame" got some nightmarish, by-the-playground promo video treatment back in
'89, but it's just recently found its way to the GooTube. They're making good
friends with you! How do you like that, Sir Harold?

Woah woah woah, just in time for it being my favorite pixies song at the moment. Awesome bass line

It's in a different key, probably the tape is playing at a different speed.

Nice to see the 'live performance for the vid' ethos staying!

It was originally posted by a YouTube user named silencelikeglass on Aug. 21. That version is no longer avaiable. And then pollyannedrogynist (our pollypurebread maybe?) posted the current version of Sept. 4 The original got 51 views before it was pulled, and this one's had 854 and counting. I'm sure that will go up with the NME mention.

Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.

Just to point out, the link to that vid was already posted by pipiwuj here, I'm assuming a number of FB.Netters already saw that. It's quite a surprize to see it pop up in the news, it's certainly a great find.

Wow, that's great! It's cool that years later stuff like this can pop up from nowhere. I'm not especially keen on the 'ugly' Joey chord here.
