I haven't kept as up to date here as I maybe should have - so I'm assuming you've all seen this, right?

Tickets are still available from the Blackheath Halls box office on 02084630100 there open beteen 12pm and 5pm mon-fri I got my one today (Wednesday sept 21st)...the venue kept a load of tickets back for themselves and only released a few hundred to the agencies, that's why it "sold out" so quickly...good luck all!!

Hi again, I'm not a poster here was more of a lurker here, I do post more on PM.C. I already posted about this in another thread but I will do it once more again. But anyway, I have never seen the Breeders and I would love to see them, wanted to go to London anyway so now I could combine it in a perfect weekend. I could get tickets for Sunday, but since I live in Holland and have a job to go to, Saturday would be so much better. Anyone who wants to trade his/her standing tickets for Saturday for the Sunday gig?

Hmm yeh, well I've bought tix for Sat's show. Will be in uni by then so it means a train/bus down from Birmingham on the Sat, and as there's probably no late night transport, a hotel too.

As much as I'd like to go to both shows, probably a little impractical as I'll have to be back by Monday morning LOL

wait, so does this mean no chance of a new pixies record then ?
I guess i could settle for a new Breeders record as long as its good !

Yeah I just posted a reply in the other topic about this.

I really don't know what to do. I can't really afford it 'cos it will mean a train and hotel, plus drinks. And I would have to do it on my own so I wouldn't even get a full night out.

I may just hold out until they come to the north one day.

I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

the only info i can find is that it looks about 700 capacity. but its too hard for me, a nonlondoner to get to. and nearly 18 quid???!!! i would pay good money if it was the waterrats again but its not. cant figure out why its there?? yeah i noticed the kirsten hersh gigs are also billed as a 1980 forward thing. i'm kinda dreading the next time i see TB or frank. the fans will be different. lots more new fans from the recent pixies tours.
Ziggy Posted - 09/12/2005 : 07:04:45
Hmm yeah, bought two tickets for the Saturday show. There's a second show, on the Sunday, advertised as well.
gavredmaxx Posted - 09/12/2005 : 06:50:09
Huzzah! Tickets bought. Other good news - Kristin Hersh is playing at the Scala the following two days too - I think this is some kind of 4AD thing? Seetickets billed it as "The Breeders 1980 Forward".....
