The title says it all. I'll be seeing the band at Reading, and I am aware of the Scottish shows, but I think it's very disappointing there hasn't been a series of London gigs like last year.

Anybody know if more UK dates could be announced, or is Reading really my last chance to see Pixies in England..at least for this year?

I predict that the "new album" tour would start in the UK, so be calm

I think you have plenty of shows. UK isn't that big, you know. There's too many places in the world that won't see any Pixies at al this year.

Indeed, Australia for instance! Poor Antipoedians!

I live in Australia and have basically given up on a 2005 tour... So, I have decided to bite the bullet and have bought tickets to the Lansdowne Road gig on 23.8 to see my beloved Pixies - I don't want to take the risk that they never make it to Aus.

The UK is the first place that took the Pixies to their hearts. The fact that they sold out the Brixton Academy for 4 nights in 10 minutes flat proves the support they have here. I'm praying for a couple of smaller shows after their festival dates, but I'm not optimistic.

Umbongo, Umbongo, they drink it in the Congo

I wouldn't be surprised if another show is announced. The band wouldn't have any trouble selling tickets, would they?

Last year's show in the London Forum was pretty last minute.

There aren't that many Pixies fans in the country you know. What, does Gemany get one show this year and none last year while Britain got what, 10 shows?
