Radiohead bad? U2 bad? You guys are wacky. I mean, options blah blah but these are opinions I expeect to hear from a Britney Spears or Usher fan. You're telling me The Bends or Achtung Baby are straight up BAD albums? OK Computer and Unforgettable Fire and not at least decent albums? That's wacky.

Brian? Brian Molko?

Is that you?

I've got nothing against U2, but that quote is definitely true.

I like U2, I like Radiohead, I like Placebo, I like Nirvana, I like Brian Eno, I like Frank Black, I like Lou Reed. Can I do that in the same sentence? Anyone pissed? I like that. I like this thread now.

And what about Radiotête...
Could someone tell me what is good with that band...

I know it's more footage of FB, but I just couldn't and won't bring myself to ever check this out.

"a friend in need's a friend indeed, a friend with weed is better"

Yeah. True. But your bands shit!

But one thing is to tour with U2, he didn´t sing with Bono...But to sing with that Placebo, is very strange!
He must have his reasons, I hope!

My belly hurts... They were definitely at the end of the line at that time...

U2. Bono does not look and sound good at all. Their success in one of the biggest misteries in modern time. The only justification of their existence is that they made Brian st Jean Baptiste de la salle Eno a bit richer... though U2 would be Eno's only sin...

Could not agree more. I'm trying, but I can't. Nail on the head.
hWolsky Posted - 11/30/2004 : 12:22:03
placebo and u2: Strange though common affiliation.
Good for none of them.

Oy, his voice... Don't get me started. It sounds like such an obvious affectation, I can't even handle it. It just screams "I'm a bitchy diva", and I hate it.
n/a Posted - 11/30/2004 : 10:10:21
No, it´s not you, his voice is unbearable, it gives me nausea listening to that!
Your description was exactly what I feel...

or he was showing them how to do it right. is it just me or does the voice of the placebo singer make other people wanna rip both their ears off so they dont have to listen to him?
n/a Posted - 11/30/2004 : 00:54:48
Placebo isn´t certainly an honour, I just can´t stand them...and I´m still wondering why Mr. Black played "Where is my mind" with them, maybe it was just a moment of weakness, even the best have them!

The Toadies. If there was a band that the Pixies influenced, it was definately The Toadies.
