This week's New York Magazine, a publication that has entirely ignored everything Frank's done, featured a one-line item purporting that the Pixies have said they will record an album.
Hmm.

From all the interviews ive read with frank this year he made it sound like they'll pretty much start work on the new album not long after the tour :)

"The reunited Pixies say they'll record a studio album later this year."
That's it. No attribution, no sources, no quotes. Most intriguing is "later this year" -- not much left of the year, especially with the tour and baby, methinks.
