Fancy yellow subtitles always seem to be 'burnt' into the film, rather than removable DVD Courier Font-style cheapo white ones.

There is something pretentious about yellow subtitles.
It’s like they’re saying “hey! I‘m a bastard, and I think this thread should die”, but with subtitles.
Do you know the kind of subtitles I’m talking about?

i'm happy to have subtitles of any type when the people on the telly are speaking irish.
The waxworks were an immensely eloquent dissertation on the wonderful ordinariness of mankind. |
