I think most of these coins (and those of many countries)

Euro, one of these things just doesn't belong. All of the other currencies are interesting etymologically.
I will elaborate.

I love it when I go in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Malta soon. It's so good to not have your bank taking fees for the change when you pay with your Visa or at the cash machine.

If you have some of the first issue, a $5.00 bill was worth $500.00 about fifteen years ago.
It was the only non-bank issued legal tender currency in North America the last time I looked, and surely the only one with a fictional portrait (Sandy McTire).
There is even a restaurant in town that will take it at par.
