Posted - 01/29/2005 : 17:52:24 I dont know what you guys were talking about , when you say Drop fitter happier. electioneering and no surprises, i know its what you think but let me make use of this forum and tell u what i think.
You guys should try to explore more then just the usual standard radiohead vibe you enjoy and try to recodnise and appreciate it for other reasons. Find those different reasongs why that song is good, dont be on the defensive when the song seems weird or not to your usual taste, like fitter happier..its all about the lyrics, a more comfortable and productive life. let your imagination dictate what the song means, electioneering, politics, it stands out talks about the non-ordinary political lyrics you hear in other "political bands" and no surprises,,,im not even gonna start with that,, but the true fans no what i mean.
I know this is an opinion and you might reply with that also, but some opinions are stronger then others , this is what i think true radiohead is all about...thats it.

Posted - 04/22/2005 : 01:08:41 Um seeing i created the OK Computer game i thought I'd make a couple of comments. Fitter Happier might have interesting, inciteful lyrics but considering it has I assume Thom talking in a manipulated voice that sounds like Stephen Hawking I don't think it can be considered a song. I quite like Electioneering, but sonically it doesn't seem to fit the album too well, so I wasn't surprised it was eliminated early. I'm actually quite a fan of No Surprises, and considering it was a single I was actually more surprised it was eliminated early, i expected it to stay a lot longer.

Do you think they honestly believe that? I don't think they've ever been to the UK. We get Tango too.

Posted - 02/01/2005 : 17:34:12 Radiohead - Hail To The Thief Thom Yorke thought he'd dedicate his album's title to the wack President our country has right now. Hey Thom, I've got a better idea... on the next album why don't you use the album title to address the fucked up garbage your country tries to pass off as food? Or how about how the only soda you can find in England is Coke, Diet Coke, or Fanta. Who the fuck drinks Fanta? I'll tell you who, 5 year olds, and fucking Euros. Oh yeah, and don't think you're gonna be ok by sticking to Coke, cos the limeys have decided that real sugar in it is no good, so all their Coke over there tastes like Diet Coke! What the fucky?! Or how about how nobody in England knows what warm water is... one faucet with ice-cold water and one with scalding hot? Y'know, I know it seems far fetched, but over here, we have it all coming out of one faucet, and you can CONTROL the temperature of the water. AMAZING SCIENCE! But anywhoo... sorry for the rant tangent... yeah dude, Bush sucks, Radiohead rules, yada yada yada.
(I didn't write this, but it cracks me up)
