Last night, I finally downloaded the 'Sing for your supper tape' (Black Francis solo, playing 15 Pixies songs in 1986) on Soulseek, so I finally got my 'studio' version of Boom chick a boom!
Another studio recording added to my collection.
Here's a list of the studio recordings I have.
Does anyone know if there are more Pixies/Black Francis recordings I don't have?

lets hope so - also, are the 2 songs off the DTTP vinyl edition and the golden ticket cd edition taken from these tapes?
the answer appears to be yes.
but man, i wish we had a definitive of what is actually going to be on FBF apart from the pale boys stuff.

All these songs are played solo by CT, and what's cool is that he's humming and singing most of the Joey parts during the songs.
I'm very happy with this one, with some accoustic versions of songs I've never heard before.
One of the best CT solo recordings I've ever heard

i believe it refers to the some early sessions with gary smith. he would have bands come over to his house and he would make them dinner if they would play and play and play til they couldn't play no mo. it is spoken of in the spin article.
