i read in an interview that he used to play bluesy gay riffs until he met this guy who showed him a way of writing good riffs without needing a guitar to make them. so he knew which notes were important on which chords and stuff...
i think he called it the "amiable" way or something after the guy who showed him....
well, i really want to find out how to do it and what it is so if anyone can explain it to me (send explination to: robert_crussell@hotmail.com) or give me a link or anyting then i'll worship your childrens feet!
plx tell me!!!!!

"how it works"... I don't believe it's a simple trick, other than using intuition. And Joe just has a f*ckin' great intuition!

pretty sure it's "amish" way. check http://aleceiffel.free.fr/index_alec.html for the article where he talks about it.

You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon.' Need I say more?
