 Does anyone know if frank blacks a ciggarette smoker these days? I don't think I've ever seen him with a cig

I remember seeing frank at the side of the stage for the teenager of the year tour he did with they might be giants and he was sitting there smoking while they were playing.

Tobacco is the most addictive substance on our planet, go to any drug rehab center if you don't believe me, it's easier to kick heroin. Smoking is gratuitous violence to yourself, at least with marijuana there's a payoff. |

I've never seen FB with a fag on; but reading between the lines (ie lyrics to 'Pan Am Highway') , I feel there's a strong possibility that he may enjoy the occasional bout of reefer madness. When I saw The Breeders in '93, the twins chugged away on Marlboro Lights throughout the gig. Myself, I quit a year and a half ago, having taken up the habit aged eleven (it was a rough council estate. If you didn't smoke by the time you wore long trousers, then it was automatically assumed by your peers that you were clearly a homosexual). The 'Nicorette Inhalator' did it for me...quit now...not smoking rocks absolutely.

My favorite part of a smoking is the inability to maintain erections and never being able to bear children. It just makes me want to puff away. As a smoker, I would rather have a different oral fixation (cunnilingus) but i guess chewing my nails will do for now.

Ahmen to the anti smoking....charlesthompson. SkateAlex.... smoking for me was like one of those things that I didn't know I was hooked until I was... Then, once you are hooked, it is soo hard to quit. I still mess up and smoke a few cigarettes a month and it took me so many times just to get to this point... my best advice is if you can still quit, quit and then spend the $$$ you save on something really cool. Like Pixies tix!  |

well, smoking is kinda rebious against rules i guess when your about 15 or something..
it's not legal....it kills you...your parents tell you not too......i cant think of anything
better to get teenagers to smoke :) |

talkin' about smokin...ever seen the breeders perform? They smoked continuously during the gig. not that it affected their music. they were great!

I remember a BBC radio interview last year where he confessed that he was trying to quit smoking. He also said that it was "a recent affectation."
Skatealex1, I smoked from the ages of 10-30. All I've got to show for it is $$$ down the drain and the expectation that every cold I catch will be accompanied by a wracking case of bronchitis. Also, I'm quit now, but I still smoke in my dreams and wish for one at least once a day. I looooved it. I miss it. Get out while you still can, junior. ;-) |
