Bah... it seems like forever from now until that Pixies show. *Sitting around staring idly at Pixies CD's and looking wistfully at websites*

How true. The couple of weeks since have seemed so anti-climactic. Will I ever be as excited just seeing a band walk on stage again as I was that first night at Brixton? And then to have impossible expectations actually met and surpassed? |

Then all the better... and I am truly looking forward to it. Never did get to see them play "way back in the day." Hence, the exictement is merited and truly welcome.

Take heart - better the anticipation, than the come down from having seen them already.
Got so used to waking up and counting another day down that it took almost a week to get used to the idea that the glorious moment had past - honestly the best gig ever.
