Anyone know anything about this? Like is it actually an official boot or just something a fan's thrown together?

From what it looks like it's some peel sessions,a collection of unreleased songs from other boots and a live song thrown in for good measure.

1.Hang on to your ego
2.I can't forget
3.Down to the well
4.Rock a my soul
5.Subbacultcha
6.Wild honey pie
7.In heaven
8.Born in chicago
9.Gouge away (Live With EDF)
10.Velouria(Demo)
11.Boom chicka cboom

Back on topic - All these songs are on Rough Diamonds - but not in this order except the last 3 - where are you getting this list from - is it a boot, file share list ???

My "ironic" statement was an understatement to say "intentional"...

Well, he DID require the Pixies' bassist to like Husker Du and Peter, Paul, and Mary.

Yeh, we had 'Pet Sounds' in its entirity at Brixton.

Someone posted a story a while back of FB fooling around with his I-Pod before a show, deciding the in-house music. Peter, Paul and Mary. I kid you not.

So maybe it isn't irony at all. Maybe it's...intentional?

No direct link with the subject but still....

During Paris 1st gig, right before the Pixies entered the stage, they played Brian Wilson's original version of "Hang on to your ego" in the venue (it is called "I know there's an answer"). Pretty ironic, isn'it ?

It looks to be just a take on Rough Diamonds with about one third as amny songs. All but four of these have been officially released also.
