In said song [MGTH] has anyone noticed in the section where Black sings "...we'll all take turns, I'll get mine too..." that the "too" bit has been faded-out too early and too sharply. While maybe not in the same league as the missing Hey! from WOM's "Hey" I have always found this to be very annoying, even if it was meant to sound that way by Gil Norton or the Engineer of the day...

Thanks for that tofuesc... I always considered that "error" to be a post-production muff, but FB moving from the mic would also be just as likely a reason, I just never thought about it that way..

I have noticed this as well, and always assued that he had moved away from the mic at this point. If it was a vocal take they all liked then they might have left some glitches like this in. Just a guess though; mayby they spent hours trying to get the fade just like that because FB insisted that it was a good idea.

The first copy of Doolitle that I owned was on tape, and the GOD bit of the "then god is seven" was faded...a really annoying thing as you can imagine. but I think that was just a crap tape...
