"After making sure who he is, I tell him how cool it is that they're playing Spokane. I mention that tickets sold out so fast I wasn't going to make the show, but that I'm really pleased to meet him. Then he says, "Why don't you write your name on napkin. I'll get you in.""

Sorry if this is a repost.

The story is cool, but there is nothing cool about being, playing, or ever getting near Spokane WA.

Conrad that story makes me so happy. i met him when i saw the catholics this last summer in Eugene. I was standing right in front of him the whole show and his microphone fell over twice and i picked it up for him both times, and he mouthed the words "thanks, i owe you one" and pointed to me in the middle of the song, so i was parked behind the venue, and saw him walk by, blowing off a few people that wanted to ask him questions or interview him, but on his way back he stopped for me when i said "hey you said you owe me one, can i get a picture with you?"

and i would post that picture if i knew how. but thats me in the green in the middle of that picture posted, so imagine me with frank's arm around me!!!!!!1

bop.

I walked by Starbucks a few times today, hoping to catch Charles eating a scone. No luck.

Yeah. I like this one, which was taken when the Pixies were entering the stage:

Some like wine and some like hops but what I really love is my scotch

That sounds like a nice slogan.

That's awesome. Charles is a genuinely nice guy, and I hope to meet him someday.

that story is incredible. Frank must not know a lot of people in Spokane to put on the guestlist or something.
