I was on I-Tunes and wound up looking up The Pixies. The ranking of the band's top 72 songs seemed sort of interesting to me so I thought I'd share some of the rankings with my Pixies-obsessed brethren on this site. Note: I-Tunes only has BossaNova, Trompe Le Monde, At the BBC, B-Sides, and the demos album for download. No Come on Pilgrim, Surfer Rosa, or Doolittle.

1. Here Comes Your Man (demo)
2. Monkey Gone to Heaven (BBC version)
3. Trompe Le Monde
4. Space (I Believe in)
5. Wave of Mutilation (BBC version)
6. Wave of Mutilation (UK Surf)
7. Head On
8. Hey (BBC)
9. Velouria
10. Alec Eiffel
11. All Over the World
12. Is She Weird
13. Rock Music
14. Break My Body (demo)
15. Havalina
16. Is She Weird (BBC)
17. Subbacultcha
18. Dead (BBC)
19. Dig For Fire
20. Velvety Instrumental Version
21. Stormy Weather
22. Dancing the Manta Ray
23. Subbacultcha (demo)
24. Build High (demo)
25. Rock a My Soul
26. I've Been Waiting For You
27. Down to the Well (BBC)
28. Bailey's Walk
29. River Euphrates (B-Sides)
30. Vamos (B-Sides)

NOW KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND AND KEEP REACHING FOR THE STARS!

Have a look at emusic.com - they have all the Pixies, and a hairy-ass chunk of FB back catalogue, and alot cheaper than iMusic as well.

Am I the only one who thinks 0.99c is alot to pay for download music? - I heartily believe in paying for downloads (and happily pay for my emusic subscription) but the prices seem so high at alot of these providers (Virgin Megastore uk wanted 99p a track - thats nearly $1.50 I think...)

Sorry if this is off topic - I get a bit het up about this one...

My head was feeling scared, but my heart was feeling free
