with news of the return of the mighty pixies all those pretenders to their throne must be running scared or getting their managers on the phone begging for a support slot.
music aint what it use to be with bands out there thinking (or their publicists) to be the biggest in the world: think r.e.m, think u2 (who! never did get them. wank!) think radiohead and metallica (did i spell that right, who cares!). theyve had it too easy for too long.
In september of 1987, the pixies came to take the kids. and they took them.
all hail the saviours of music. much needed. well timed.
what you gonna do now bono. find bin laden?

was reading a book called 20th century rock and roll-alternative music, and it made referene to how frank was happy to support zoo2 seeing it as maybe the break they need to all conquer america. never happened but that old rock n roll 10 year cycle is upon us once again and now whose king. to me the pix gettin back should send shockwaves around the world.
to even think they were chuffed and honoured to support bonio and his crew.
didnt mean to dis u2 in anyway, never really listened to them to judge
