I'm starting to think this is the first in a series of Pixies DVDs.
If you notice the concert on this one only has songs from "Come On Pligrim" and "Surfer Rosa". Leaving the other albums out in the cold.
It'd be a pretty bad move not to release another DVD with a more complete show. Which would probley be Brixton 91'.
Then if sales are strong they'll be some kind of 2004 live DVD. You can't tell me that not one of the shows on the Europe or funn North America tour won't be pro-taped.
However this is just a thoery, but it's one I'd like to see come true.

i recently put the brixton show on vcd from a 2nd/3rd gen vhs, from jap. tv. it's ntsc, 2 40minute vcd's. if anyone wants to trade let me know. or if i can post it somewhere online for everyone to download, let me know. or the ftp here? total it's about 800 MB. |

For the record, I will by any and every Pixies DVD they put out (provided they keep em at a certain level of quality.)

there is a large interest in these
and we'd like to see more
a good taping of the warm up tour would be great

Jo (girl) said that they couldn't include the Brixton show because of budgetry constraints.
i assumed thats because 4ad probly don't actually own the rights to the recording seeing as it was recorded for a Japanese TV station.
i dare say they (the Japs) might release it at some stage unless someone (4ad) buys the rights off them.
but i like the T&C concert more anyways...but it would be fantastic to have the Brixton one in DVD quailty instead of crappy nth-generation VHS...

i think in an older thread on the dvd, that guy jo from 4ad, sort of, not really, made it sound like the brixton might make its way out. it'd be cool. i only have a vcd copy from a vhs copy. |
