Posted - 03/06/2004 : 14:43:14 I agree in the crappiness of Bush. I mean, they're not completely crap musicians, but their music won't find its way into my collection anytime soon. But despite the fact that their music isn't great, it is great that they're all big Pixies fans. Pixies compelled so many thousands of people to pick up an instrument and start playing, myself included. I may not be the best musician, but they sure as hell inspired me. I applaud Bush for having excellent taste. Not for excellent albums. However, I've yet to see Gouge, so maybe something in there would make me think otherwise. Until then I'll give the guy the benifit of the doubt.

Probably just elitist "I was there first" mentality.
Also-- I know I said it before in another thread, but that dude from Bush isn't fit to mow Frank's lawn. |

Huh?!? yeah we know, SURFER ROSA changed alterna-rock or whatever. But dammit, Bossanova and Trompe le Monde are beautiful albums. Even Frank is unsure of himself, lyrically, in the interview, and i'm not sure why, cuz those lyrics are so passionate. they definitely speak to me!

Posted - 03/05/2004 : 22:30:49 I watched that today. Could have lived without the Bowie and Bono, etc. I loved the live footage, especially "I've Been Tired, " and "Levitate Me." WOW! Frank looks so young and what a voice! Good sound and video quality.
